UofT Meds Orientation Week Day 1

Wow what a tease that title is.

Came home super tired, and unable to type. Will probably end up doing some really long write up at the end of the week, unless I find some odd time during the week when I’m not completely exhausted.

But in spite of it, a belated congrats!! =) Make sure you keep us posted on your adventures.

haha sorry but I have been getting 5-6 hours of sleep every night with full days, but I will try to get a write up done this this weekend!

Hi there
I’ve read few things from your blogs and it’s awesome!!! First of all I am pretty sure you’ve heard this like gazillion times but congratulation!!! Myself being a premed dying to attend U of Toronto med someday (hopefully next year :) ) hearing about your acceptance actually gives me butterflies.

hope you have an awesome orientation week and looking forward to read more about Toronto Med soon!!!!!

Thanks Suzanne! :)

Meeting people for the first time is a generally exhausting process.

Meeting people for the first time (and doing it so many times in a week) is a generally exhausting process.

I’m guessing that’s what’s so exhausting about your week?

Don’t you wish you could just skip those parts and already get to the silliness and frankness that’s there with people you know?

Hey Rory,

That’s a really interesting point you bring up. I day dream a lot, and there are a lot of times when I secretly think to myself “man, I wish I could just fast forward an hour or a week ahead”.

I’m not sure if I would want to skip ahead through O-week though, as you’ll end up with a lot of good memories from there, but you definitely bring up an interesting idea. I do think about stuff like that a lot, funny enough.
