I can honestly say that this article and all of the parts before it were amazing. I am currently a grade 11 student trying to prepare myself for the future. My boyfriend is currently struggling with his first year of university in the life sciences program, and knowing that he was a 90+ student in high school, i've gotten really scared. I cant stop reading your articles, they are so informative and helpful I even decided to bookmark this website in order to come back to it when I am in grade 12. Thank you so much, I am so glad i came across this page before i reached first year university. Reading this has literally opened my mind and has got me thinking in a whole other way. I feel as if i was about to set myself up for failure. With all this new information and advice i am going to be much more focused, involved, and dedicated than i would have been. Thank you again, i am going to take university much more seriously now and use all of your tips to help me succeed.

True - doing practice tests under simulated conditions doesn't help much. In a test, you have a different objective: to show competence in order to receive marks and grades. Before the test, your objective should be to prepare by understanding what the test will be about, and then how to do well in it.
