Hey Gj,

I'm having less and less time for blog posts now haha.

If you're doing all those labs, the first year schedule can be pretty tight, but you should be okay as long as you do a bit of work here and there.

I agree, it is hard to make friends in lectures, but it gets easier once you realize you keep recognizing people in different classes. Making friends in medical school is definitely a lot easier because the class is smaller and you see the same people in every single class and stuff.

It's not really an art or science course, I guess that's more of a name. The real focus is on learning clinical skills, or I guess what most people view as "doctor skills".

And yah, no electives yet....

Hey Suzanne,

Thanks for the kind words :) Good luck with your applications, and do let me know if you will be coming over for interview weekend, and I'll try and show up!

I don't think you sound anything like a jerk based solely on your blog, Joshua, you seem like an "okay dude" to me!! :)

I'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog this summer, though I wished I had discovered it at the beginning of first yr, rather than beginning of second year. Keep up your great work, I love reading your posts! :D

Wow, this was sweet to read. =) Finding pretty good friends or just friendly acquaintances is bound to happen, but it's the people you click with who really make life special.

Anyways, this post really made me smile. Thanks!
